- The BULLETIN DE DIALECTOLOGIE ROMANE encouraged more systematic study of dialects in various Romance countries, and served as a point of contact for an exchange of ideas. It dealt with aspects of dialectology outside the scope of the Revue de Dialectologie Romane, published by the same society. Short essays, detailed reviews, a society chronicle, a correspondence section, news, and a bibliography are included. Various indexes permit easy and immediate access to the information required. |

- This is one of those titles that borders more on the literary than the linguistic, but has just enough linguistic features to be included here. Each issue of REVUE DE LINGUISTIQUE ROMANE usually has one main topic around which the major articles are organized, followed by sections such as "La Litterature catalane," "Varia," "Critique," and "Revues et ouvrages recus par la "Revue des Langues Romanes.' The entire journal is written in English, French, and Italian. The book reviews and works received sections are helpful for keeping up on the field of Romance languages (Katz).
