- One of the official journals of the Modern Humanities Research Association, London, MODERN LANGUAGE REVIEW publishes articles and reviews on medieval and modern European literatures and languages. Contemporary authors are discussed only rarely. Most of the articles focus on literature, predominantly on English, French, and German authors. - Vols. 1-6 (1922-1927) published as SLAVONIC REVIEW - The research journal SLAVONIC AND EAST EUROPEAN REVIEW publishes scholarly articles on all subjects related to the field of Slavic and East European Studies. Each issue consists of four or five well-documented articles on aspects of the languages, literatures, philosophies, and histories of the region. A typical article is about 20 pages long.
