- TEXTILE HISTORY was launched in 1968 by the Pasold Research Fund to foster research and publication about the history of textiles; their technical development, design, conservation; the history of dress; and other uses of textiles. It is a substantial publication. While more than half of the five or so articles are about English textile history, other countries are covered as well. Because this is a scholarly journal it is well suited for academic or museum libraries (Katz).
