- AFRICA SOUTH, edited by the socialist politician Ronald Segal, dared to speak out against apartheid. In time, it was attacked in the national press and officially banned from bookstalls. Segal was forced to flee first to Botswana and later settled in London, where he published the last issues under the title: Africa South in Exile.
