The coverage of ABSTRACTS IN SOCIAL GERONTOLOGY is indicative of the multidisciplinary nature of the study of aging. In addition to providing coverage of geriatric and gerontology publications, it also examines social science and public policy titles, such as International Journal of Public Administration, Health Care Financing Review, and Journal of Marriage and the Family. Entries are arranged by subject. These include medical, social, financial, and public policy subjects in addition to theory and method. The "Related Citations" section contains citations of interest (without abstracts) arranged according to the same scheme as the abstracts. This is a core source for information in the study of aging, geriatrics, and gerontology (Katz).
