- JOURNAL OF CROSS-CULTURAL PSYCHOLOGY published for the Center for Cross-Cultural Research, Department of Psychology, Western Washington University, in affiliation with the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology, publishes exclusively cross-cultural research reports. Its emphasis is on empirical research, studying variables influenced by culture, with subjects from at least two different cultural groups. The concern is with individual differences and variation across cultures rather than with societal variation, e.g., sociology. Contributions are accepted from disciplines other than psychology (Katz).
