- PHRONESIS is the leading journal devoted exclusively to all aspects of ancient Greek and Roman thought, including logic, metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of science, psychology, and medicine. A majority of the contributors undertake a critical textual analysis of the works of Plato and Aristotle, particularly those involving new or neglected issues, although others adopt a broader historical approach. Occasional articles deal with early Stoicism or the later Hellenistic period. The articles may be in English, French, German, or Italian (Katz).
