- REFERENCE SERVICES REVIEW serves as a forum for reference services issues and provides evaluative reviews and annotated bibliographies on a variety of topics (a recent issue includes an extensive annotated bibliography on "right-wing opposition to Bill Clinton and his presidency"). Although the journal is refereed, the majority of articles tend to be practical in nature or opinion pieces rather than reports of research. Still, this is an important journal for reference services (Katz).
