- TEACHERS COLLEGE RECORD (TCR) is a provocative journal where articles raise questions and discuss issues which challenge the status quo. Focusing on both K-12 and college/university education, this journal seeks to question conventional wisdom and practice. While authors clearly have an opinion on the issue they are addressing, literature and statistics are referenced to produce a scholarly voice. Each issue includes three to four medium to long articles on a wide range of topics and four to six book reviews. Articles are well-written and quite readable, but the issues may be beyond those typically discussed in undergraduate programs (Katz).
