- Published in cooperation with the Commission on Visual Anthropology, this journal aims to publish articles, comments, discussions, and film and book reviews that contribute to the study, use, and production of anthropological and ethnographic films, videos, and photographs for research and teaching. VISUAL ANTHROPOLOGY is also concerned with the analysis of visual symbolic forms and the study of human behavior through visual means. This is an international journal, and the film and book review editors are from the United States, Wales, South Africa, and other countries (Katz).
