- Founder / editor Pablo Neruda gathered around him a number of poets, some who were already well known - Arturo Serrano Plaja, Rafael Alberti, Emilio Prados, Luis Cernuda - and some, like Miguel Hernandez and Leopoldo Panero, who were publishing for the first time. There were also two French poets, Robert Desnos and A.B. Delons, as well as a Swiss, Hans Gerbser, who contributed. the close collaboration between Latin-American and Spanish poets was one of the most important features of the review CABALLO VERDE PARA LA POESIA.
