While articles about India predominate, it is more inclusive of other South Asian countries and of the subcontinent as a whole than South Asia Research. Authors are from academic institutions throughout the world. SOUTH ASIA deals with the present as well as past history of the subcontinent. Colonial politics and the dislocations and nation building that followed independence are frequent themes. Guest editors are invited to prepare special thematic issues.
