- The title of JOURNAL OF RELIGION AND HEALTH conveys its central philosophy: Religion and health are connected, and human physical, emotional and spiritual well-being are indivisible. Articles examine the relationship between contemporary religious thought and recent medical and psychological research. Given the orientation of the editors, it is no surprise that Jungian and depth-psychological thought receive significant attention, although contributions are accepted from writers of all religious, medical and psychological viewpoints. Articles frequently include statistical data and are prefaced with an abstract (Katz).
