Realizing the inherent problems with current computing architecture, research presented in this journal focuses on promising results of studies that may help create a new generation of computers. Each issue contains three or four articles in fields such as foundations (real world complexity, game theory, brain modeling), programming and architecture, distributed and parallel computing, intelligent systems, learning (inductive logic programming, computational learning theory, etc.), and evolutionary systems (Katz).
