- According to the editors, RUSSIAN LINGUISTICS is an international forum for all scholars working in the field of Russian linguistics, including phonetics and phonology, syntax, linguistic analysis of texts (text grammar), and both diachronic and synchronic problems. Topics within the scope of this publication include Russian dialectology, history of Russian literacy language, Russian grammar in relation to linguistic universals, philological problems of Russian and Old Russian texts, and Russian phonetics and phonology. Any library considering this item for acquisition must consider that about 67 percent of the articles are in Russian and about 33 percent are in English and, in addition, the book reviews are mostly in Russian (Katz).
