The "Equipment" department provides news of recent events, current activities, blurbs, industry highlights, profiles of equipment and tools, items on people within the industry, and a calendar of activities. Also included is a page containing abstracts and key words of the articles as an aid to readers. The journal's strength is in getting practitioners in the field to contribute articles of interest to both researchers and fellow practitioners (Katz).
