- The new editors seek to refocus the INTERNATIONAL STATISTICAL REVIEW to become the premier review journal for the entire field of statistics and relevant aspects of probability. The journal accepts review articles of interest to a broad spectrum of International Statistical Institute (ISI) members. Topics may include statistical theory, methodology, applications, education, computing, graphics, data analysis, and the history of statistics. It continues to accept papers describing developments and new practices in the areas represented by ISI sections, including official statistics, statistical computing, statistical education, and survey statistics. Further, the editors seek to create a forum for discussion of issues involving the statistics profession as a whole (Katz).
