- Formerly published as JOURNAL OF COLLEGE STUDENT PERSONNEL
- JOURNAL OF COLLEGE STUDENT DEVELOPMENT (JCSD) is the organ of the American College Personnel Association, a professional organization for those who work as chief student affairs officers, counselors, residence hall staff, and others in student development in higher education. Most of the articles are research reports, and most deal with the nonclassroom aspects of student life, such as racial bias, financial difficulty, sexual harassment, and alcoholism. Articles tend to be research-based, intelligent, and substantial (Katz).
