Each issue is devoted to reviewing current literature. Articles are in fact lengthy and detailed bibliographic essays. n addition to the review essays, the "Notes on Recent Publications" provides short descriptions of a large number of new titles, categorized under a controlled list of topic headings. Although not every topic appears in each issue, the sequencing is listed and consistent. Covering over 1,000 titles annually, this is an invaluable tool for collection developers and anyone interested in keeping up with recent literature in the field (Katz).
