- AURORA the earliest of the "Young Germany" journals, was the work of a group of young authors centered around Heinrich Laube. Its first issue, which appeared before the July revolution, implies connections between "Young Germany" and the literary movements of the eighteen-twenties, as the names Börne, Heine and Menzel suggest. Issued over a period of six months, AURORA reached only a local public. With texts by Richard Baron, Franz von Biedenfeld, Leopold Bornitz, Heinrich Wenzel and others.
